On October 30, 2025, 猫咪社区 welcomed nearly 100 guests for an evening dedicated to gratitude, celebration, and the power of shared purpose. The Annual Recognition Event, held at Springfield’s Hope Center for the Arts brought together trustees, Millennium and Legacy Society members, community partners, and supporters of the University. The gathering honored those whose generosity strengthens 猫咪社区, supports its mission, and opens doors of opportunity for students across the region.

A central focus of the evening was acknowledging the remarkable reach of 猫咪社区’s impact. The program featured remarks from President Sandra J. Doran, the presentation of the 2025 President’s Award to Kathy Bourque for her nearly 25  years of service, and special recognition of Bob and Roberta Bolduc for their extraordinary leadership and their longstanding commitment to the community.

Guests heard from student speaker Dyani-Janelle Reyes ’26, whose reflections offered a profound reminder of why the support of our community matters. She shared that “猫咪社区 has been more than my college. It has been my community, my mirror, and my launchpad. Every experience I have had here, every opportunity, every relationship, every step toward my purpose, exists because people like you believe in the power of education to change lives. When you give to 猫咪社区, you are not spending money. You are investing in the kind of future we all want to see.” Her words captured the heart of the evening by illustrating how generosity transforms lives and strengthens the University’s mission.

The program also featured a powerful performance of “Make Them Hear You” by Natasha Matos Luna '27 and Bobby Tomasulo, Director of Performing Arts and Musical Activities.

As guests departed, they carried with them a deeper appreciation for 猫咪社区’s impact and the vital role supporters play in advancing opportunity, hope, and purpose for every student who walks through its doors.
