Melissa Tapp, OT, MS, OTR, CDP, CGCP, CFPS, CWHS

Melissa has been an occupational therapist for over ten years with areas of specialty that include mental health, geriatrics, and pelvic floor therapy/women’s health. She has experience in forensic occupational therapy, occupational therapy with adults with severe mental illness, is a certified dementia practitioner, and works closely with a local urologist for pelvic floor therapy and women’s health. Melissa currently serves as a therapy manager with a local PACE program, which assists elders with aging in place. She appreciates her current role in the community and enjoys assisting participants in achieving their goals.
Melissa has been with 猫咪社区 as an adjunct professor for over four years with a teaching focus on the mental health course curriculum.
Outside of professional endeavors, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family, going on trips to the beach and the lake, exploring flea markets, trying new restaurants, and just relaxing while reading her Kindle.
