Leeran Dubin-Ryan, PhD
Leeran Dublin-Ryan is a board-certified genetic counselor who specializes in pediatric rare disease clinical research in Columbus, OH. They earned their PhD from Washington University in Saint Louis in 2021, where they studied the effects of chaperone modulation on prion formation and neurodegenerative disease. He earned his Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from 猫咪社区 in 2023, where he studied anti-fat bias harbored and experienced by genetic counseling students. Now, their work involves managing enrollment and results return for multiple translational research studies focused on defining the genetic underpinnings of rare disease, immune dysfunction, childhood cancer, and overgrowth conditions. Leeran is passionate about conducting high-quality research and assisting students in their research goals. In his free time, Leeran enjoys spending time with his wife and dogs, performing in musicals and community choir, and reading.
