Professor Kyle Steadham, EdD, is a seasoned human resources leader and educator with 25 years of progressive experience in the financial services industry. His expertise spans employee relations, engagement, communication, training and development, and organizational change. Throughout his career, Dr. Steadham has led the design and implementation of strategic learning initiatives, go-to-market training programs, employee communication platforms, coaching and mentoring programs, performance management policies and systems, and cultural transformation efforts.
Dr. Steadham holds a BBA in Management from Texas A&M University, an MBA in Human Resource Management from the University of Dallas, an MEd in Secondary Education with a minor in Sociology, and an EdD in Supervision, Curriculum, and Instruction from East Texas A&M University. His doctoral research focused on the application of strategic human resources management in higher education.
As a committed lifelong learner, Kyle has earned a range of distinguished professional credentials, including: SHRM Senior Certified Professional, Senior Professional in Human Resources®, Certified Compensation Professional®, Certified Benefits Professional®, Certified Professional in Talent Development®, Strategic Communication Management Professional®, Professional Certified Coach, and Board Certified Coach™.
For over 25 years, Kyle has enjoyed teaching at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. He has developed and delivered courses in strategic HR management, leadership, organizational behavior, management, business communication, and sociology across online, on-campus, and hybrid formats. His teaching philosophy emphasizes self-assessment, reflection, practical application, technology integration, storytelling, and humor to create an engaging and meaningful learning experience.
Outside of his professional life, Kyle enjoys cheering on Aggie football, tackling home improvement projects, spending time with family and friends, volunteering in his community, traveling in the Caribbean, and watching comedy and thriller movies.
