Josh Hyatt, DHS, MBE, MHL

Dr. Josh Hyatt is a Distinguished Fellow of ASHRM and has a healthcare career specializing in healthcare administration, risk management, patient safety, leadership, and ethics. He holds a Master of Bioethics from Harvard Medical School and both a Doctor of Health Science and a Master of Health Law from Nova Southeastern University.
Currently, Dr. Hyatt is the Director of Consulting in Healthcare at Praesidium, focusing on professional sexual misconduct in healthcare settings, and is an Adjunct Professor where he teaches courses in ethics and patient safety. He has held leadership roles at Coverys, Med-IQ, Jackson Memorial Hospital, Keck Medicine of USC, and other institutions. He has contributed extensively to healthcare ethics and risk management through publications, presentations, and professional service.
A Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management and Patient Safety, and a Certified Professional in Patient Safety, Dr. Hyatt is actively involved with the American Society of Healthcare Risk Management, where he is on the Advisory Board, Editor of the ASHRM Journal, and Faculty Lead for the CPHRM Prep course. His impactful work has earned him multiple awards for leadership and excellence in the field.
