Heidi Fettig Parton
Heidi Fettig Parton is an essayist, editor, and former publisher. Her newest writing centers around mothering, music, and witnessing individual and collective losses that come from living in a patriarchy. Her most recent work can be found, or is forthcoming, in Brevity: A Journal of Concise Literary Nonfiction, Dorothy Parker’s Ashes, The Forge, Fugue Journal, The Keepthings, Literary Mama, North Dakota Quarterly, Reunion: The Dallas Review, and Sweet Lit. Heidi’s Brevity essay, “The Once Wife,” was nominated for The Best American Essays 2023. Heidi publishes monthly writing rituals on her Substack, Writing with Presence. She serves as executive editor of Multiplicity. Heidi lives in St. Paul, Minnesota, with her spouse and teenage son.
